Last year, Donnie spoke about his mother’s health issues last summer, confirming he was suffering from senile dementia.
“I know many of you have asked how my mother is. During my visit, I didn’t remember much and was often confused, but somehow I was still Soul.
“She still lights up a room. She still made me smile. She’s still stubborn. And she still loves her baby Donnie. I thank them all for their good wishes,” she wrote on that occasion.
