Sami Zayn reacts to the promotion of Big E’s hard hat, Kofi Kingston congratulates Big E for winning the title

Kofi Kingston took to Twitter today to congratulate the new WWE Big E intercontinental champion, while former champion Sami Zayn continues to react like a sore loser.

You can click here for last night’s congratulatory message from New E’s other brother, Xavier Woods, of Big E, along with Sami’s comments where he claimed an injustice was committed against him in the main SmackDown event. Zayn promised to investigate the injustice and do something about it.

Last night’s Christmas edition of SmackDown on FOX was led by Big E defeating Zayn in a Lumberjack Match to become two-time WWE intercontinental champion. Kofi tweeted a GIF reaction and congratulated the new champion.

“When you fall asleep with the kids, wake up and find out that your brother won the IC Championship … Congratulations @WWEBigE! [hand raised emoji] LET’S LET GOOOOOOOOOO !, “Kofi wrote.

Sami responded to the promotion we discussed in the link above, where Big E wore a hard hat and jokingly explained how he was “going to work” with Sami and “renewing” his back doing the works.

“Press this right now,” Sami tweeted in response to the promotion.

WWE has announced that Big E will face King Baron Corbin in an untitled match on the first SmackDown of 2021, which will air next Friday on New Year’s Day.
