Saudi Arabia hit by a rich snowstorm when the region sees snow falling

These camels are catching lumps in Saudi Arabia, which was hit by a snowstorm, according to a report.

The sad dromedaries, with their humps resembling snow-capped mountains, were captured in a video contemplating their surroundings during the surreal storm.

Meanwhile, residents of Tabuk and the adjoining mountainous region enjoyed the country’s winter wonders as the popular holiday destination was filled with snow, the Khaleej Times reported.

Residents and tourists, including some who left the UAE, flocked to the area to enjoy the climate, which is an annual phenomenon, according to Al Arabiya.

The winter season in the kingdom is called Kashta, or camping season.

Thursday’s highs in Saudi Arabia were 56 degrees Fahrenheit, with lows of about 36 degrees in the Tabuk area.

On Wednesday, snow also covered parts of Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Libya and Israel, covering areas it has not reached in years.
