Striker Marlon Ramirez had opened up space between the defense beating Carlos Meléndez and once he tried to define on Jonathan Rougier, Decas arrived in time to avoid the annotation, although in the repetitions of the television it was observed that the ball hit his hand (loose) involuntarily. The referee did not sanction the maximum penalty.
After a few seconds, the young Under-23 defender from Honduras recovered from the blow and continued the match.
