A trailer showing Annie’s game in Skullgirls: 2nd Encore has dropped. It was also revealed that another character will join after Annie of the Stars.
Annie of the Stars debuted in video games on Skullgirls Mobile on August 14, 2020. She plans to join the Skullgirls: 2nd Encore list in early 2021.

During the trailer, Annie is shown fighting with a sword. One of her superheroes on the ground makes her throw herself forward with the blade, which looks similar to Nathan Rad Spencer’s hyperion Bionic Arm in Ultimate Marvel vs.Capcom 3 and Marvel vs.Capcom: Infinite.
Another super works essentially with a beam attack. Annie is able to perform this super while in the air. This attack is carried out by Sagan, his parasite.

At the end of the trailer, it was revealed that “a new star is coming into the spotlight” as a slot with a question mark appeared next to Annie. There was also another blank slot in the film next to that slot, which implies the existence of another new character beyond.
