It’s been an exciting week if you’re a fan of the Super Mario series from Lego and Nintendo, with the revelation of Super Mario 64 ‘?’ Block, but it looks like some older sets could retire soon.

As VGC saw, the British Lego store will apparently withdraw three sets of Super Mario from Wave 1. They include the Boomer Bill Barrage expansion set, the Whomp lava problem expansion set and the Builder power pack Mario.

Once stocks are gone, it’s likely to do so, which is pretty standard when it comes to Lego games. It’s unclear when the rest of the first wave will officially retire, but Lego is currently on track with its third wave of Super Mario.

Wave 1 of the Super Mario sets has proven to be a huge hit for Lego, becoming one of the company’s most successful tracks to date. If you haven’t checked out the latest Super Mario Lego revelation, be sure to check out our previous post. It will arrive this October for GBP 159.99 / USD 169.99.
