Shameless thieves ambush the car in the Pollo Tropical drive-thru

SOUTHWEST OF MIAMI-DADE, Fla. – A crime captured on camera shows two cheeky thieves who ambushed a driver asking a Tropical Chicken for food.

One of the thieves was seen pointing a gun at the victim towards the access near the southwest of 152nd Street and the southwest of 116th Avenue.

The other thief could be seen in a surveillance video knocking on the passenger door with a brick.

According to Miami-Dade police, the couple took off in a gray Dodge Challenger. That same car was caught in other surveillance cameras just hours before placing a jewelry store southwest of 122nd Avenue and 8th Street.

The men waited for the victim to leave the jewelry store, where he was followed to the fast food restaurant.

The suspects grabbed a suitcase from the victim that he had on his lap, which contained $ 9,000 and also grabbed a gold chain worth $ 10,000, according to police.
