WayForward has revealed the original Shantae by Game Boy Color will be released in Switch eShop on April 22nd.
Along with an announcement on social media, a trailer is also posted showing the original game in action on Nintendo’s hybrid hardware. Note that this version of the game will also include standard GBC mode and enhanced Game Boy Advance mode.
“The original Shantae is back (almost) again! Experience Shantae’s original GBC adventure in all its glory of banging your hair, dancing belly up and changing shape when you land at the Nintendo Switch store on April 22nd . “
Limited Run Games offered the physical editions for Switch and also Game Boy Color last year and now they are sold out. According to WayForword, the standard version is approaching submission.
