Eleven-month-old Sharon Stone’s nephew and godson has died, just days after his cradle found him suffering from a “severe organ failure” that left him in a coma.
The 63-year-old shared the tragic news of River’s move to Instagram on Monday afternoon, posting a video of the boy along with caption: ‘River William Stone. September 8, 2020 – August 30, 2021. ”
River was the youngest son of Stone’s younger brother, Patrick, and his wife, Tasha, who live in Ohio with their three children.
The Basic Instinct star did not share any other information about what exactly happened to River, as he only revealed on Friday that the young man was suffering from a “total organ failure” and would need a “miracle” to survive.
“My nephew and godson River Stone was found in his crib w[sic] total organ failure today. Please pray for him. We need a miracle, ”he wrote then, as he posted a picture of River lying in a hospital bed while connected to numerous medical devices.

Tragedy: Sharon Stone has revealed that her eleven-month-old nephew, River, died after being found in her cradle with a “total organ failure.”

Tearing: the actress shared a photo of the boy lying in a hospital bed in a mess of wires and pipes last week

Support: Stone asked his followers to pray for a miracle, explaining that he suffered a total organ failure.
Last week, River’s mother, Tasha, wrote a passionate petition for her prayers on her Facebook page, revealing that her son had been transferred Thursday to the Pittsburgh Children’s UPMC, where he was fighting for his life in coma.
“This is the HARDEST I have ever had to post, but I am PRAYING to everyone and anyone who prays, pray HARD for River,” the devastated mother wrote. ‘Every second of that literally kills me. I just want my sweet boy back.
Although he did not share the cause of his son’s condition, he said doctors had told him that River “would never be the same” if he ever woke up from his coma.
“The doctor said that if he does, it will never be the same,” he continued. “Please ask for prayers so that my baby can be healed and come back with his family who love him very much. I am beyond a broken heart.
Neither Tasha nor Patrick have yet commented on their son’s tragic passing.
Stone was inundated with messages of condolence after sharing the news on Instagram, but actress Selma Blair simply wrote, ‘I’m so sorry. My lord. ‘

Stone, 63, previously revealed that he lost his grandmother and godmother to COVID-19 last year.

Meanwhile, Andie MacDowell offered his sympathy and commented, “I’m so sorry, sir.”
Will & Grace actor Sean Hayes added, “I’m here crying. I’m so sorry, Sharon. What a handsome guy. Sending all my love to you and your family.
Stone was traveling in Italy when he revealed the news of his nephew’s devastating medical condition – having traveled to Venice to take part in a Dolce & Gabbana photo shoot – but returned to the United States over the weekend when he was seen in the image landing at New York’s JFK Airport.
River’s passing comes at a difficult time for the large Stone family, which has seen several members deal with serious health issues in recent months, including cases of COVID-19.
Last year, a stone affected by the pain revealed that her “adoptive grandmother” and godmother Eileen Mitzman had died from complications associated with the virus.

Tasha Stone revealed in this heartbreaking Facebook post that even if her baby had lived, she would never be the same again.

The actress’ sister, Kelly, who has lupus, and her husband, Bruce, had also contracted the disease but recovered.
It also appears that River’s mother, Tasha, has been struggling with health issues in recent months; comments left on his Facebook page in January suggest he had to receive medical treatment that forced him to spend time away from his family.
At the time, the mother of three revealed that she had returned home, but that she had an IV port on her arm and that she would be undergoing continued treatment with the help of a home help nurse for several weeks.
“I was able to return home with a power glide IV port on my arm so I could receive treatments from a home health nurse over the next few weeks,” she wrote.
“After that, it will change me to a form of antibiotic pill. I am grateful to be back with my family.
