PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) – Philadelphia police say seven people were shot Wednesday afternoon near Olney Transportation Center.
Police said the shooting happened shortly before 3 p.m.
Views from Chopper 6 show a large police presence near the station on the corner of Broad Street and Olney Avenue.
Philadelphia Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw said the injured are between 17 and 70 years old.
The victims were taken to hospitals in the area. One person was in critical condition, but the others suffered injuries that did not endanger their lives, Outlaw said.
At least one person was arrested and two weapons were found at the scene, police said.
An earlier version of this story said that one person had died after the shooting.
