Shredder’s Revenge will be confirmed for Switch with a new trailer

Who is your favorite?

As part of yesterday’s Nintendo Indie World live stream, publisher Dotemu confirmed that it would bring its attractive fighter Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge to the Switch platform. The announcement was accompanied by a new trailer that gave us a quick look at our average heroes in action.

The nostalgia-fueled beat-em-up will see how the TMNT team will face the classic enemies of hit comics and TV series, including Bebop and Rocksteady, Baxter Stockman, the Triceratons. All this will lead to a one-way trip to Dimension X and a confrontation with the turtle’s archenemesis, Shredder. The new trailer, unfortunately, did not confirm any whispers that April O’Neil and Master Splinter will make their presence felt as playable characters, but developer Tribute Games notes that there is “more to come.”

With an aesthetic that turtley captures the classic Konami arcades Teenage mutant ninja turtles and its aftermath, Turtles in time, a frantic four-player action, the promise of deep combat mechanics and character animation, Shredder’s revenge it is already being set up to be a fantastic time TMNT fans. I was one little off by the “successful” sound effects of this trailer, which seem innocuous, but that is alpha images only. I’m really looking forward to jumping in with mates when it finally comes out of the sewers. PIZ-ZA POWER!
