Six soldiers died this Sunday when the Mexican Air Force aircraft in which they were traveling, in the eastern state of Veracruz, said in a statement the Secretariat of National Defense of Mexico (SEDENA).

Official reports indicate that the Learjet aircraft with registration number 3912, belonging to the Secretariat of National Defense of Mexico, he left the track and crashed into barren terrain.

The Learjet caught fire immediately, so its six crew members, including the pilot and co-pilot, died at the scene. The victims were elements of the armed forces.
Members of the Mexican Army, State Police and airport rescue personnel rushed to the crash area, where they tried, unsuccessfully, to rescue the pilots who were trapped in the middle of the fire.
