The Philadelphia 76ers are in the middle of a playoff run with the Brooklyn Nets. The teams are the No. 1 neck of the Eastern Conference for the playoffs, which begin on May 22nd. The Sixers own the tiebreaker and retired on Sunday while maintaining a one-game lead over the Nets in the standings.
The Sixers received help Sunday from the Miami Heat, who snapped a win over the Nets at the AmericanAirlines Arena.
With the game tied at 107, the Heat headed to Bam Adebayo and defeated a hard shot at the baseline as time expired to lead Miami to a 109-107 victory. Shortly after Adebayo’s heroism, Sixers president Daryl Morey reacted to the shooting with a little love for Miami.
