The San Luis Obispo County reports the deaths of three more people who tested positive for COVID-19. Public health officials say they were in their 60s, 70s and 80s, and all three had basic health conditions. The district also added 106 new cases COVID-19 as of Wednesday, Dec. 9, bringing the county’s total to 7,071 confirmed cases. Eighteen people have been admitted to the hospital, including seven patients in the ICU. A further 930 people are recovering at home and 6,072 have recovered, health officials said. 45 deaths due to COVID-19 have been reported in San Luis Obispo County. The Department of Public Health has not identified those locations. Community COVID-19 testing sites are currently open to the public in San Luis Obispo, Paso Robles, Moro Bay, Grover Beach and Nipomo. Appointments are needed everywhere.
