In the Liberal Party ballot positions

The CNE drew the positions in the ballots of the Liberal Party being in the first position the Yanista movement of Yani Youngest child Rosenthal Noble, in the position the movement the Hope of Honduras of the Angel Darío Banegas Leiva and in the third position the Recover Honduras movement led by Luis Orlando Zelaya Medrano.

According to the official timing of the primary elections, on Tuesday, December 29, the CNE must deliver the final lists of voters, in print and electronic media, to these political movements.

Of the 14 political parties that will run in the November 2021 general election, only three will do so in the internal elections: the National, in power; Freedom and Refoundation (Free), first opposition force, and Liberal.

Three political parties

One of the commissioners of the CNE, Kelvin Aguirre, said that a representative of each current participated in the draw for the position that will have each movement of the three political parties that will participate in the internal elections. which are not mandatory.

“For example, if it is the first position of a movement, it had the first 23 positions of the deputations (of Francisco Morazán) and so on,” explained Aguirre.

In the internal elections, Hondurans will elect candidates for more than 3,000 popular positions, including president, three presidential nominees (vice presidents), 298 mayors and 128 deputies, according to the CNE.

In addition, 128 will be chosen candidates per deputies alternates before the local Parliament and 20 proprietors and equal number of substitutes for the Central American Parliament (Parlacen).
