The 2021 NBA All-Star Game will be held on Sunday, March 7 in Atlanta. But due to COVID-19, the value of a weekend’s events will be compressed into a single night: The skill challenge and the 3-point contest will take place before the game, while the dumps will act as the half-time show.
All-Star voting began on January 28 and All-Star headlines, determined through fan voting (representing 50% of the vote), media voting (25%) and player voting (25%), were announced on January 18th. The reserves, which are voted on by NBA coaches, were announced Tuesday on TNT.
After their exciting All-Star Game debut last season in Chicago, the “Elam Ending” is back. So will the captains, with Kevin Durant of the Brooklyn Nets and Lebron James of the Los Angeles Lakers, the main fan vote winners at their respective conferences, making their selections for the showdown at State Farm Arena.
