Society of Salvadorans based in the US are demanding unconstitutionality of Romeu Auerbach’s candidacy

The plaintiffs allege that they violated a resolution of the Chamber on transfugism and statutes of the WIN party.

Lawyers representing the Society of Salvadorans based in the United States filed a lawsuit on Thursday for unconstitutionality against the candidacy of Romeu Auerbach, who is a virtual winner of a deputation in the Department of Freedom by the party WIN.

Lawyers allege that the law was not complied with as to his candidacy, as he had previously run for election as a Member of Parliament for the New Ideas party, but failed to get the candidacy passed in WIN where it was accepted.

He asserted that the strange thing is that the WIN statutes in Article 35 state that a person belonging to another party cannot be a candidate in a popular election for the WIN flag.

“In this particular case, the figure that the statutes say and the resolutions of the Constitutional Chamber that have forbidden the figure of the fugitive, to pass from one party to another have been ignored,” ‘lawyer.
