Merdeeva, Which had the 928th place as its best single ranking and the 644th in the doubles ranking, was involved in two incidents of party manipulation. For its part, Dmitrieva, which went on to rank 1191 and 939 in the WTA singles and doubles rankings, was involved in six party manipulation incidents and, in addition, she was accused of not cooperating with the investigation.

Both have been sanctioned for violating the Tennis Anti-Corruption Program.
