The woman christened “Soho Karen” after falsely accusing a black teenager of stealing her cell phone at a Manhattan hotel reportedly received a second charge of DUI last year while on release provisional for its first.
Miya Ponsetto, 22, was arrested in Ventura County on Oct. 3 for DUI, resisting arrest and obstructing or delaying a peace officer or EMT, according to court records obtained by TMZ.
Five days earlier, Ponsetto was released on bail after pleading not guilty to any opposition to a drunk driving arrest beginning in May in Los Angeles.
According to a letter sent to Los Angeles County, Ponsetto could have violated his parole with the second bust.
Last February, Ponsetto and his mother were also charged with public poisoning and drumming after causing a melee at the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills, according to a police report of the incident.
Ponsetto has been in California since his Dec. 26 confrontation with 14-year-old Keyon Harrold Jr., the son of the jazz trumpeter of the same name, at the Arlo Hotel.
They saw her in a viral video addressing the teenager, whom she wrongly accused of stealing her phone.
The incident has sparked a call to Manhattan prosecutors to charge Ponsetto.
