Efrén Arroyo, son, detailed today, Thursday, some of the details about the death of his father, the veteran television journalist.
In a separate one he had with the press in front of his father’s residence, Arroyo reported that about two weeks ago his father began to face physical discomfort that could have been the reason for his death.
“He was isolated in his room. We didn’t know about him outside the house,” the journalist also said.
Arroyo also shared that his father even went so far as to write to him to express his displeasure.
“Unfortunately, on this day, he got up, drank a juice, he seems to have fallen asleep and died here,” he added.
In addition, Arroyo said he has no additional details about his father’s death.
At noon, WAPA Television announced that the veteran journalist died at the age of 68. Since then, social media has been steeped in praise and gratitude towards a communicator with over 40 years of media career.
