Murphy-Goode Winery offers you the opportunity to work with them for a year, without rent, in the beautiful wine country of Sonoma, with a salary of $ 10,000 a month.
All you have to do is come up with a video that explains why you would be a good candidate to work at your California winery.
Located on the outskirts of San Francisco, in the Alexander Valley region, any wine-loving connoisseur who needs a lifestyle change could jump at this opportunity.
The Murphy-Goode website deftly marketed the job listing as “a really Goode job” and explained how the goal was to hire someone who wanted a path to the wine business.
“Are you looking for a change in your professional career and pursuing your passion? Do words like Cabernet, Rosé and Chardonnay just shoot you? “asked for listing.
“Tell us why you really want a Goode job. Start the first 90 days of your winemaker Dave Ready Jr., performing the shadow of the Really Goode Job and exploring every aspect of the harvest. From here, we will work with you and your passions to help you choose your path in the wine business. Heaven is your limit! ”
Work is expected to begin in September and the application deadline is June 30.
The company added that it would help the lucky candidate to “develop strong working relationships between the winery’s functions” and “work with teams to raise awareness and generate demand for Murphy-Goode Winery.”
He did something similar in 2009, with an initial focus on documenting the work on social media platforms.
Founded in 1985, Murphy-Goode decided to regain the position this year “as the country faces a new set of challenges” amid the ongoing pandemic.
To apply, you must be allowed to drink legally, be a legal resident of the United States, and be able to lift 50 pounds.
But perhaps the most important requirement of all? You have to love wine.
