Sony Giving Away free games for PS4 as a return to the Play At Home initiative

After giving away Journey and Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection for free last year as part of its Play At Home program to fight the coronavirus pandemic, Sony has confirmed that the initiative will return in the coming months. The biggest takeaway so far is that you can change a copy of Ratchet & Clank on PlayStation 4 for free from March 1, 2021 on PlayStation Store. This offer will remain until the end of the month, at which time a new offer will have already passed.

Starting March 25, 2021, another agreement will grant extended access to Funimation for new subscribers. “What we’ve outlined today is just the beginning of what’s in the Play At Home store. In the coming weeks we’ll share more details about the free games and entertainment deals that are falling for our PlayStation community,” he says. Jim Ryan, CEO of PlayStation.

In these historic times, the PlayStation team wanted to thank the community by returning something. Currently, we could all use something we hope for and another reason to stay socially distant, so we’re happy to be able to offer a free selection of great games and some entertainment deals.
