The world of medicine mourns the death of Enrique Villanueva Cañadas, a national reference in forensic medicine. The professor at the University of Granada completed an exceptional career in the field leading the International Academy and the National Commission from the presidency or as director of the Department. The Grenadian, born in Órgiva in 1940, is also an honorary doctor of the University of Coimbra, has been president of the Deontological Commission of the College of Physicians of Granada and he was vocal of the same in the Andalusian Council of Medical Schools.
