Dr. Morales fell after facing a long period of kidney disease, a relative reported
The legendary sports chronicler Alfonso Morales, one of the top Mexican references in the world of boxing and wrestling, fell on December 17, as confirmed by his nephew, Leonardo Riaño, in Mexico City, at the age of 71.
Originally from Huetamo, Michoacán, Morales Villela he devoted himself to sports reporting from the 1980s, although his career began in the 1970s as a sports journalist. Graduated in Psychiatry, he began going to the media in Channel 11, and then moved to the ranks of Television, where he achieved a career of more than 45 years.
He became one of the most recognized voices of the Mexican boxing and stamped his stamp in the chronicle of wrestling.
