The service will be “terminated”
Square Enix has announced that it will close its free card game Dragon Quest Rivals Ace on July 5th. This will apply to all platforms, including the Nintendo Switch. Starting this week, players will no longer be able to purchase Gems in the game.
“Thank you for using Dragon Quest Rivals Ace. The Dragon Quest Rivals Ace service will end on July 5, 2021 (Monday) at 1:00 p.m.”
This digital card game hit the scene in 2017, surpassing 12 million downloads in the first few months, and was finally aired on Switch in 2019. It remains an exclusive version of Japan in the eShop.
In 2020, it received an update and underwent a name change Dragon Quest Rivals and Dragon Quest Rivals Ace.
