For the past several weeks, Google has been releasing updates for Stadia, and now, it looks like the company is preparing a UI overhaul. Some users are looking at the new web UI for Stadia, which includes welcome enhancements.

One writer first found the new UI for the Stadia Web application in his account through the Chrome browser. The updated UI can be seen in the video below (via) StadiaSource), Brings some great improvements to the library area of the site.
The updated interface first shows the game you recently played, and three new boxes appear on the site. The first of these is for “pro games” and the second is “Stadia News”, which joins the community.stadia.com. Finally, there is the “New Releases” section. These new boxes are only shortcuts to the first and last Stadia store areas.
The transition to game pages is even more important. When tapping a game from the Library tab, it now brings up a large menu. From there, you can access family controls for a game, which previously only had a game store list. The game page shows the types for each game and the shortcut to the store page (implicitly for the content).
Around this UI update, Google now shows three games in each row, making better use of space on large laptop and desktop screens. It is worth noting that users who have seen this new Stadia Web UI have not seen any updates on mobile or Chromecast apps.
Update 12/7: After showing it to a couple of users last week it seems that this new UI is coming out a bit more detailed this afternoon. Our own Abner Lee showed us the redesign scene on his account, giving us the opportunity to look at it a little more deeply.
As shown in the previous screenshot and video above, the grid has been expanded to show three-row games, with the upper part showing new shortcuts and buttons. At the bottom of the homepage we also found a “Pro Games Request” section that allows users to quickly request new additions to the Stadia Pro line with a single game. In our case, the interface for actually starting a game was slightly changed from what was seen in the video above.
Google Stadia quietly updated the icon for the advanced web application, giving it a red gradient background and a white logo. This is a major improvement over Chrome OS (pictured below).
Note, One User at Stadia subdivision found a search bar showing only in the web app store, but that post has been deleted, so we do not know what’s in it.
