Spider-Man: No Way Home is slated to hit theaters in December and the film’s highly anticipated first trailer was finally released last week. Ever since before the film’s production, there have been many rumors about the film, including the long-held belief that it will feature former Spider-Men, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. Holland has denied these rumors, but we know for sure that Alfred Molina will return as Doc Ock from the direction of Maguire Spider-Man 2. Another actor that fans hope to see is Jake Gyllenhaal, who played Mysterio Spider-Man: away from home. Even though his character died in the last movie, there is always the possibility of him reappearing now that the multiverse is in play. Whether we see Mysterio again or not, Gyllenhaal had his own encounter with the character this week.
“I met an old friend in Venice,” Gyllenhaal wrote. One photo shows Gyllenhaal with a Mysterio cosplayer in the background and another photo shows a more detailed view of the cosplayer with Gyllenhaal in the background. “Thanks for sharing, I was the cosplayer of the image,” @wholly_cosplay replied. Although Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio presumably died on screen during the events of Far from home, Earlier, Marvel producer Eric Carroll mocked the opposite, suggesting that the character could end up with a historical arc similar to that of an iconic Doctor Strange bandit. “We wanted to find our‘ in ’and similar to what we did with Mordo in Doctor Strange,” Carroll said earlier.
After the release of the trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home, he beat Avengers: Endgame as the most watched trailer within 24 hours of its release.
“That’s amazing. Honestly, I can’t believe it. This movie is so crazy and I can’t wait to share it with you.” There is no way home star Tom Holland shared after the trailer was released. “The love and support you show for the film is so exciting. Honestly, that’s just the tip of the iceberg,” Holland added in a video on Instagram. “You have no idea what’s to come. I’m really excited to share more things with you, and I feel great to be back with Spider-Man and show you trailers, to have movies coming out. That’s so exciting.”
