Steve Martin has received the coronavirus vaccine.
The Father of the Bride star has revealed that he was given the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on Sunday in New York City and praised the smooth running of the service.
On Twitter, he wrote: “Good news / bad news. Good news: I just got vaccinated! Bad news: I have it because I’m 75. The operation in New York was smooth as silk (sorry for the cliché @BCDreyer !) And a perfect welcome for the U.S. Army and National Guard. Thank you all and thank you for science. ”

When a follower asked him how he was able to receive the vaccine, the 75-year-old actor wrote down the exact process he used to get a date.
“I signed up for the ON line through a New York dot government website (sorry, I don’t have the exact location) and waited for the IN line at the Javits Center,” Martin wrote.
Other Hollywood stars have also received the vaccine.
Dame Judi Dench was thrilled with the vaccine against COVID, as it was nice to see people in the next village, even if they were at a great distance from it.
Making it public: The actor revealed the news through his official Twitter account, where he thanked the US military and the National Guard for managing the logistical side of things.
Professional Tips: Martin responded to a fan who wanted more information about the vaccines detailing the registration process and noted that he had to wait in line to receive his inoculation.

The 86-year-old actress let everyone know she was vaccinated while sitting in an interview with BBC News last week.
She said, “I had one last Thursday. What was nice was in the next village, and you know, even though they were a huge distance away and I can’t see very well, I made a greeting to “A lot of people I thought I knew, which I’m sure I did. It was a great distance. It was terribly well organized.”
And singer Tony Bennett has also had the vaccine against COVID-19.
The 94-year-old singer visited Twitter this week to reveal that she had been given the first dose of coronavirus vaccination as she encouraged other people to take it.

Martha Stewart also received her first dose and shared a small video on her Instagram account to let her fans know she was doing well.
The 79-year-old also wrote a long message in the headline to allow her 3.5 million followers to thank the essential workers who were tirelessly trying to end the global pandemic.
“I am very proud and grateful to the doctors, nurses and medical staff who are going through the bureaucracy and confusion of the distribution of these important vaccines … Here is the advancement of science and a sincere thanks to those who work in vaccines, ”he wrote.
