Struggling with a detainee causes moments of tension at Guayama Command

Authorities managed to catch a man tonight who struggled with police officers while he was on file after charges were brought against him for attempted murder and violation of the Weapons Act.

Axel Valencia, spokeswoman for the uniformed, Told El Nuevo Dia that Anthony Colom Maldonado left Guayama’s command with the weapon of regulation of one of the uniformed men after forcing with law enforcement officers while the trial was taking place.

The defendant was given a bail of half a million dollars for the charges against him.

The man ran out of command and fired two shots into the air. However, he was arrested again and his weapon was taken care of.

No one was injured.
