Federal authorities, along with the Puerto Rican Police Negotiator, arrested José Suárez Sevilla on Tuesday morning because he had an arrest warrant for drug trafficking.

The arrest of Suárez Sevilla, occurs several days after threatening a lieutenant of the Police in the middle of a scene of violent crime.

“I take my rifle and kill us, you tell me. Tell me to go and look for it. Tell me, will we kill ourselves? Tell me tell me, so you see the ‘cambumbeo ‘, tell me to see if you can stand the’ cambumbeo ‘,’ said the now detainee and a resident of the Viles de Caparra residential area.

Information about his arrest was confirmed to Metro by the police press office.

The lieutenant, identified as Vélez, ordered not to intervene at the time with Suarez for the safety of CIC and Forensic Science personnel, according to the Bayamón barracks press office.

They added that the lieutenant says he does not feel intimidated or threatened at any time.
Suarez was arraigned the day after the video for obstruction of justice and is scheduled for May 3 in Bayamón court.
