Puerto Rican police reported a minor car accident with an official vehicle this morning on Highway 130 in the Capaez neighborhood in the town of Hatillo, which involved a patrol.
According to agent Jonathan Hernández Caves of the Arecibo Road Patrol, while driving the vehicle from north to south, he went to intervene with a driver of a Jeep in the middle of the road when approaching if with the patrol to perform the intervention was hit by the driver of the Jeep with the front left side in front right side of the patrol.
The driver was identified as Edgardo Rivera Valentí, a 29-year-old resident of the town of Hatillo. He was driving a Jeep without a license plate, did not have a license to apply for registration himself, 8 tickets were issued for administrative misconduct and he was tested for alcohol in his body on which throws 074% so drunkenness will not be subjected to a magistrate.
No one was injured and the damage was not estimated.
