Celaya.- Armed groups set fire to several homes of alleged members of the Santa Rosa de Lima Cartel (CSRL). In addition, they clashed with elements of the State Public Security Forces (FSPE), with a balance of five civilians killed, and blocked roads. All during the morning and afternoon of Sunday, in the municipalities of Celaya and Juventino Roses.
In the community of Sant Josep de Deus, in Juventino Roses, five men were killed and allegedly chased by state police from the Celaya-Juventino Roses road, near the Franco Tavera community, where the confrontation began.
In the vehicle of the victims of the Guanajuato security elements, they found weapons and cards with messages from a criminal group.
After the confrontation, the gunmen set fire to a double-trailer trailer, blocking the two-way lanes on the road; they set fire to a Kia car at the entrance to the Pelavacas community and a white van. Also the burning of rims and ponchallantas devices in the bordering highways of Celaya and Juventino was reported.
Day of violence
