Sunday winter storm update in southeastern Wyoming

A Snowstorm warning continues for much of Wyoming Sunday (March 14) including the cities of Cheyenne and Laramie. The notice is valid until Monday morning. Officials are asking people to stay home and avoid traveling. the roads in the area are closed and often impassable.

Extremely dangerous or impossible travel conditions. Probable darkening conditions when falling and blowing snow. Strong winds can cause significant damage to trees and power lines. There are likely to be electrical outages. The conditions will be dangerous for people who have been caught unprepared. -National meteorological service
