Suns PA announcer Vince Marotta will appear in the NBA 2K22 video game

Valley players may hear a familiar voice as they play like the Phoenix Suns in the latest NBA 2K video game to be released on September 10th.

NBA stadium advertisers, including Suns publicity announcer Vince Marotta, will star in NBA 2K22, which will add a new level of realism to the franchise.

In a trailer released by the NBA 2K YouTube channel, Marotta appears in the 37-second mark.

Marotta, who is also co-host of Arizona Sports’ Bickley & Marotta, you can now add a video game superstar to your flawless resume.

He will be joined by other PA advertisers from across the league, including Oliver Sedera (Brooklyn Nets), Kyle Speller (Denver Nuggets) and Eric Smith (Los Angeles Clippers), who were PA advertisers during the Bubble Games. NBA in Orlando in 2020.

While the game has been a staple in the NBA community since its original release in 1999, its popularity in the Valley increased last year when Devin Booker knocked down his teammate, Deandre Ayton, in the championship game of a tournament only for NBA 2K20 players.

It was used as an adjunct to NBA coverage on ESPN when the season was halted due to COVID-19.

The 2K22 version of the game includes Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks as a cover athlete.

Other special editions of the game will feature Dirk Nowitzki, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Kevin Durant, Candace Parker and Rui Hachimura as cover athletes.
