Sales are up nearly 200% on Wii U originals
You can almost configure it. Nintendo launches the Switch game, the Switch game reaches the top of the British charts. With every major release, Nintendo continues to seek favor from the British gaming public and last week’s release Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury he was no exception, debuting at the top of the British charts.
According to GamesIndustry.biz, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, which received rave reviews, is already the third largest Nintendo Switch Mario launch never, sitting behind 2017 Super Mario Odyssey and 2020 Super Mario 3D All-Stars. In terms of its release figures, the new dual package is absolutely impressive, with 190% more physical sales than the release figures of the original 2013 Wii-U, although of course Nintendo Switch’s user base far exceeds that of its big screen siblings. Nintendo’s new title is already a winner.
Elsewhere on the lists, creepy sequel to Bandai Namco Small nightmares II debuted at number seven, after mostly positive press reviews. The rest of the Top Ten is completed by the veterans on the list by Activision Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Nintendo Animal Crossing: New Horizons i Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Electronic Arts’ FIFA 21, and Sony’s adventure with the web Spider-Man Miles Morales.
