The report generated by the Monitoring System of coronavirus (COVID-19) of the Department of Health (DS) put 64 municipalities with high community transmission level.
The 64 municipalities are: Aguadilla, Aguas Bones, Aibonito, Arecibo, Arroyo, Barranquitas, Bayamón, Cabo Roig, Caguas, Camuy, Canóvanas, Carolina, Cataño, Cayey, Ceiba, Ciales, Cidra, Comerío, Corozal, Culebra, Florida, Guayanilla , Guaynabo, Gurabo, Guánica, Hatillo, Formiguers, Humacao, Isabela, Jayuya, Juana Díaz, Joncs, Lajas, Lares, Les Marías, Les Pedres, Loíza, Luquillo, Maricao, Maunabo, Mayagüez, Moca, Morovis, Naguabo, Naranjito, Orocovis, Patilles, Quebradillas, Racó, Rio Grande, Sabana Gran, Salines, San Juan, San Lorenzo, San Sebastián, Santa Isabel, Toa Alta, Toa Baixa, Trujillo Alto, Utuado, Vega Alta, Baix Segura, Villalba and Yauco.

On the other hand, it was reported that 12 municipalities are at the level of Substantial Transmission. These are: Adjuntes, Aguada, Añasco, Barceloneta, Dorado, Fajardo, Guayama, Manatí, Peñuelas, Ponce, San Germa’n and Yabucoa.
The report comes at a time when the island is facing a spike in cases and hospitalizations for COVID-19.
