PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police say the family of a delivery driver has been found safe after a suspect took off in the vehicle with the man’s wife and two young daughters inside. After a police chase through the streets of Philadelphia, the suspect was arrested.
The Chopper 3 was on, as police were able to capture the suspect.

The kidnapping took place on Broad Street and Erie Avenue around 8:40 p.m. Friday in northern Philadelphia.

Police say the City View Pizza driver was having a birth with his 25-year-old wife and 4- and 2-year-old daughters in the car.
That’s when police said a suspect jumped into the car and took off with the family inside. According to police, the vehicle has been found and the woman and children are fine.

However, police say the suspect took off in a different vehicle – a 2014 gray Toyota Scion – and was seen heading east to Spring Garden from 21st Street.

The suspect then led police into a chase before he was finally caught near Franklin Square Park.
