TEXAS, UNITED STATES.- The United States Supreme Court decided to suspend the execution of the inmate Jhon Henry Ramírez following his last wish, as he asked for the presence of a pastor who was by his side praying and with his hands on him when he received the lethal injection, which was scheduled for last Wednesday.
Although his request was initially denied, the US authorities are now considering the case of Ramirez, so they determined an oral argument hearing for October or November of that year.
The case has surprised the entire Texas community because of the circumstances surrounding it and the unusual request of the former Marine, who a few weeks ago went to a failed lawsuit alleging that his request is a symbolic act of their religion.
