Taco Bell wants to sell you a 30-day tacos subscription

At about 20 participating restaurants in Tuscon, Arizona, customers can pay between $ 5 and $ 10 a month for a Taco Lover’s Pass, which provides subscribers with one taco a day for 30 days. The application-based program is currently active until November 24th.

The subscription includes a variety of tacos, including soft tacos, spicy potato tacos, crunchy tacos and Doritos tacos. Once a customer subscribes, a special section of the app is unlocked and customers can add a cue to their cart during the purchase process.

Taco Bell is testing a subscription service.
Subscription services are more common for transmission, but restaurants have also experienced this. Panera has a $ 8.99 monthly program that allows guests to get a free cup of hot coffee or frost each day. Burger King had a similar coffee subscription, but has since turned it down.

Taco Bell is likely to expect the trial to turn casual customers into regular customers and increase enrollment in its loyalty program from a year ago. The idea is to attract people with a free cue and hopefully add more to their order and increase the amount they spend at the restaurant. It also provides restaurant owners with information about ordering habits that help guide customers with personalized offers.

Brands Yum (YES), owner of the taco chain, said in its recent earnings call that it aims to increase digital sales this year with more exclusives like this one. Application users enrolled in their loyalty program spend 35% more compared before joining, he said.
