Talladega Nights actor Houston Tumlin has died at the age of 28.
Tumlin, who was a child when he appeared in Will Ferrell’s 2006 film, died by suicide according to Shelby County coroner Lina Evans, who spoke to TMZ.
Evans told the site that Tumlin was killed by an automatic shot to the head around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday at his home in Pelham, Alabama.

Tumlin was reportedly serving in the Army’s 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell in 2015 and, according to TMZ, was engaged in other work, such as repairing telephone lines.

Tumlin’s Instagram featured happy moments, such as beautiful photos of her dogs, work snapshots and photos of stylish costumes.
Houston’s sister Hayden was left in shock when she paid tribute to her brother on Instagram.
Under a photo of the brothers who were fools, he wrote: ‘Yesterday I lost my brother. This does not feel real nor is it right to be without it. It was so special to us. I will love you forever, bubba.
