Target is no stranger to having solid weekly sales in video games, but today has begun one of the most unique discounts in recent memory. The deal allows customers to buy almost two video games and get a new one for free. While this may seem like a fairly common promotion, the sale extends to other media as well.
In general, Target right now allows customers to buy two video games, books, movies, or music albums, and then get a third item for free. Normally, when the retail chain has this agreement, it is only limited to items in the same category. But if you decide you want to pick up a movie, a book, and a vinyl record in the store right now, you’ll get the cheapest item of those three for free. It’s a great way to mix and match in case you don’t want to choose three items of the same type.
Speaking more specifically of the video game section of this offer (which is probably what interests you most if you read this article), the sale includes a good number of titles for sale on Target. While not all of the video games Target has in stock are part of this promotion, some featured versions from recent months are included. This even extends to some next-generation games on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. And, surprisingly, some top-tier Nintendo Switch games are even included on this board, which is often a rarity.
Here is just a list of some of the many, many games that are included for sale:
- Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War
- big car thief V
- Pro Skater 1 + 2 by Tony Hawk
- Mortal Kombat 11
- Red Dead Redemption 2
- Remake of Final Fantasy VII
- Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
- Xenoblade Chronicles: Final Edition
- Cyberpunk 2077
- Immortals Fenyx Rising
If you want to see the full list of games included in this promotion, you can go to the Target website right here to find them all. This promotion is only available for this week, so if you want to take advantage of it, you only have until this Saturday, February 13th to do so.
