Taylor Swift said 2020 had been “weird” as she expected a brighter 2021.

But her friend Claire Winter Kislinger said goodbye to the damn year in early January with a Polaroid-style touch from her pop star friend.

The picture showed 31-year-old Taylor waving her middle finger at the camera, which her friend used to rule out the tumultuous last year.

“We never see each other in 2020,” she underlined the image, which appeared to be a setback she had made of the singer, who wore a purple striped dress covered in bright sequins.

She looked over her shoulder at a man who had his arm around her, though it was unclear if it was her boyfriend Joe Alwyn.

Claire, who is a jewelry designer, has regularly attended Taylor’s performances in the past and has even accompanied her friend to awards.

At the 2018 American Music Awards, Taylor’s boyfriend Joe was not there, but his friend Claire received a special shout from the stage.

“Goodbye 2020, it’s been weird,” the photo headlined.

Taylor’s release comes days after his surprise album, Evermore, topped the Billboard 200 for the second week in a row.

The album was released with little warning on December 11, following their surprise Folklore album released in July.

In early December, Taylor explained to Zane Lowe that the brothers ’albums took inspiration and mood from the seasons.

“One thing I wanted to do with folklore is that I wanted to represent spring and summer. And when I created Evermore, I knew I wanted to fill the rest of the season and reflect autumn and winter, ”he said.
