Kandice Barber, 35, married with three children, faces up to five years in prison. He moved to Buckinghamshire, England.

Kandice Barber, 35, who worked as a teacher at Princes Risborough School in Buckinghamshire, England, was found guilty today of sexually abusing one of her students.

At the time of the assault the young man was 15 years old, and the investigation of the authorities indicates that Barber in 2018 persecuted him, harassed him with messages and photos, and finally abused him. In the coming days the sentence will be known, which can amount to five years in prison.

“It all started on a sports afternoon on September 27, 2018, when she approached him and borrowed his phone,” prosecutor Richard Milne said during his allegation. “In possession of the phone, he put his data in his Snapchat account. It seemed a little strange to him,” Milne continued, according to the transcript in the Daily Mail, picked up by Infobae.com.

Then the messages to the teenager began. He would tell her when he was going to take a bath and ask her totally inappropriate questions. “Do you like breasts or buttocks?” I asked. Then followed the sending of photos of her naked and surrounded by sex toys.

One of the many photos Barber sent the young man ended up exposing the relationship. It circulated so much in the school that it came to the eyes of the principal, who fired her and filed a complaint against her.

By this time of events, Barber had already sexually abused him. It happened in the countryside and they had sex with a bundle of hay, according to the prosecution.

Barber showed no remorse or grief when he heard the verdict, the jury took 10 hours and 39 minutes of deliberation. The reason she was let go home and the judge did not yet sentence her is that her lawyer, Nadia Chbatt, was not present because she had another engagement.

“I will not proceed with the sentence immediately. I fully accept that Ms. Chbatt, who was her lawyer at the trial, must be present,” the judge said. “I will release her on bail until next time, which will be tomorrow morning or Monday morning, when she has to attend Aylesbury Crown Court,” the judge argued.

Daniel Barber, Kandice’s husband, supported the teacher at all times. He even testified as a witness in his defense, saying their relationship was “as strong as ever.” Asked by the press about the verdict, he was enraged. “It’s a joke,” he exclaimed.

As soon as Barber came out of court, he took her by the hand. The two walked like this, together, until they got on a car and left.

Barber had already been tried for sending the photos. She had been convicted of making a child see a sexual act while in a position of trust, but acquitted of the charge of inciting a child to engage in sexual activities. She was found guilty of this second crime this Thursday.
