Following information that has circulated on social media, the president and general manager of Telemundo de Puerto Rico, José Cancela, rejected that it is in channel plans to broadcast the La Comay program.
“Our programming schedule for the future is not disclosed, let alone with such a competitive television market. That said, we can clearly say that it is not in our plans to broadcast the La Comay program,” he said in statements written.
Cancela added that “the networking campaign is the product of the imagination of someone who has nothing else to do.”
On Friday, Kobbo Santarrosa returned from Puerto Rican television, when he culminated his space for Mega TV.
On December 11, the character announced that he would end the space and that it was “a final and firm decision” of his manager, Kobbo, not to renew the contract with the said channel.
Comay returned to television on January 28, 2019, after leaving SuperXclusivo (Wapa TV) in 2013.
