Terrace Marshall “talks a lot with the eagles”

The Eagles traded up to No. 12 overall in order to hide more assets, but could still be in play for a wide LSU receiver late in the first round.

With Ja’Marr Chase opting for last season, Terrace Marshall was given the opportunity to showcase his talents to the Tigers.

Marshall is versatile and his production in the LSU slot would allow him to immediately become a difference maker in NFC East.

After his professional day, Marshall said he had held more than one conversation with the Eagles, among other teams.

That interest and conversations have continued, as Kyle Brandt reported Tuesday morning on NFL Network’s Good Morning Football that Philadelphia appears to be coveting Marshall.

“This guy is 6-3 and gets 10 touchdowns in seven games before he leaves the rest of the season. You think all these guys have it and they have it. This is another, explosive, big game creator they can chase. He has I’ve been talking a lot with the Eagles, so we’ll see. ”

To land Marshall between the 22-27 first-round pick, Philadelphia could be forced to separate with the number 37 of the general in the second round and the number 70 of the third.

Marshall can be physical on the outside as long as he has the necessary speed that helps him to separate on the routes.

During the 2019 season, when Chase and Justin Jefferson went over 1,000 yards, Marshall recorded 46 receptions for 671 yards and 13 touchdowns.

During the 2020 season, Marshall grabbed 48 passes for 731 yards and 10 touchdowns in seven games before opting to leave without proving more.
