An antivax husband and wife have died two weeks apart with Covid-19, orphaned by four children.
Lydia and Lawrence Rodriguez, of La Marque, Texas, were not vaccinated and skeptical of the new blows, according to Lydia’s cousin Dottie Jones.
However, on his deathbed, they asked his family to vaccinate their children, The sun reports.

“Before she was intubated, one of the last things she said to her sister was,‘ Make sure my kids get vaccinated, ’” Dottie said.
“They didn’t believe in vaccines, and you try to talk about them, and he didn’t like that at all. I guess I didn’t trust him.
“Now she would be there for her children if she had been vaccinated.”
Lydia, 42, was hospitalized with Covid-19 more than a month ago before dying of the virus on Monday.
Her husband Lawrence, 49, died of complications from the disease on August 2.
Still, the relative added that the family was very careful during the pandemic and always wore masks and tried not to go out often.
“I’m tired of the anti-vax rhetoric that keeps so many, like my cousin and his family, from getting vaccinated.”
Jones created a GoFundMe page while the couple was in intensive care to help the family cope with medical bills.
As of August 18, the crowdfunding page has reached US $ 49,430 (US $ 68,690) from the US $ 50,000 target.
“Lawrence and Lydia Rodríquez, of La Marque, Texas, were admitted to UTMB-Victory Lakes on July 12,” the page stated.
Jones said their hearts are “just broken.”
“It simply came to our notice then. We hurt them and only want them better and at home.
“Please vaccinate. We want no other family to have to endure this preventable scenario. “
The extended family has taken care of the couple’s children, 18-year-old twins and two 16- and 11-year-old children.
Jones said they all tested positive for the virus, but experienced only mild or none symptoms.
