The 2021 Star Game will be in Colorado

Major League Baseball announced that the All-Star Game and its other All-Star Week activities — the Future All-Star Game and the Amateur Draft — will be held at Coors Field in Denver, Colorado.

At first, the All-Star Game, scheduled for July 13, was to be held at Atlanta’s Truist Park. However, last week, MLB announced that it was withdrawing its headquarters in that city, due to a controversial law that now governs the voting process in the state of Georgia.

It will be the second All-Star Game in Colorado, after its first in 1998.

“Major League Baseball is grateful to the Rockies, the City of Denver and the State of Colorado for their support of the All-Star Game this summer,” MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred said. “We appreciate your flexibility and enthusiasm in providing a first-class event for our game and the region. We look forward to celebrating the best players in our sport and entertaining fans around the world.”
