He 2022 Toyota Tundra makes his public debut late September 19th, which is this Sunday night. I was able to talk to its engineers at a pre-launch event and get a lot of information about the Tundra that I will cover in depth, but in the meantime, what do you want to know about the new truck?

The new Tundra will shake some again “fan favorites“Like the electric rear window and a familiar”iForce”, Which now features a blue accent along with a new“ MAX ”badge. But a new Tundra means a new approach, some of which could deviate from the traditional formula and van that full-size pickup drivers expect.

It also involves a redesign or a new design depending on who you ask. We saw a little more in the last teaser. Blink and you’ll miss it.

Whatever you want to call it, by this time it was already overdue. He latest design debuted in 2006 and the Tundra it is only in its third generation. Compare that to your Ford, GM or Ram competitors and the Tundra looks like a relatively young truck. I’m not sure if the Tundra has consolidated its role as much as the F-150, or if we stick with Toyota, the Tacoma. That could change, but not without it some revisions, both large and small.

When I spoke to the new chief engineer of the Tundra, Mike Sweers, shared much of what happened to Toyota’s intent and process for truck design. The term data dumping comes to mind. Sweers had a lot to say about Toyota’s latest truck, but from what I learned, I’d like to know what you’re most interested in knowing. Is it electrification or configurations? Or is it about cheeky truck stuff like suspension, towing, and pair mapping? What do you want to hear about?
