The agricultural and monetary capital letters of Destiny 2 have gone out of control

Season of the Lost is fun so far in Destiny 2, though it was released with a lot of bugs, including entire sections of the new seasonal event turned off or the progress of the challenge stopped. However, yesterday, Bungie announced a solution to a player-friendly problem, which reinstated a weekly limit of four centered Level 3 Threshold Engrams, when previously unlimited week 1 of the new Destiny 2 season was unlimited.

This is part of a long Bungie pattern that is too restrictive with its various caps, both for the agricultural potential and for many of the game’s materials. Sometimes your motivation seems financial or commitment based, other times it comes close no sense. But he’s really getting out of hand.

So let’s get through all of this, right? Here are the “limit” issues in Destiny 2 right now:

Level 3 thresholds – Last season, me I suppose you could have argued that the focused Level 3 Threshold Engrams could have caused everyone to only have unlimited farming armor until the end of time, because the armor could be a lot well to the Splicer engrams. And yet, this season? Armor is worse, statistical totals are usually lower, but the worst part of this is that you can now grow level 3 weapons, which have the ability to launch with two lead options in a single slot or two options of advantage to two slots, allowing a lot of life-threatening throws.

Limiting this to four possibilities with a good weapon a week here is absurd, especially considering they only need four strokes of eight to twelve minutes to focus on a Threshold, so you’ll end up cultivating them all week incredibly quickly. First, you have to win a 50/50 chance to get the weapon you want, then you have to get the benefits you want, even with several options, and even concentrating about ten, so far , I think I just kept it a that I had a roll good enough to grab me, and I didn’t get any single weapon of four advantages still. The fact that this is limited instead of a fun and rewarding farm is baffling and only serves to inflate the “commitment” for players to keep coming back week after week to cultivate their four levels 3. It feels bad.

Seasonal currency – This was not a problem with Splicer, where the currency was more or less uncapitalized, but now you earn more currency with activities and there is a very, very low limit instead of 1500. This is just a few level spotlights higher and you need to keep going back to HELM to spend the coin or run Astrals (which only spends 100 each time after upgrades). Maybe I understand some a kind of limit to encourage spending, but math here is off and that feels too low and like too much spending is wasted if you don’t pay attention.

Cap Transmog – Yes, go back to that. While Bungie reduced the cost of transmog rewards so you can buy them more easily, you still limit yourself to a hard limit of ten per season, which you can now tackle in a few days with a character if you really try. . This is obviously to push people to buy Synthweave at the Eververse store, but a system of monetized transmograms only scratches when more time passes and, with so much new, fresh armor, you can’t even keep up with the plugged system. , is more or less impossible. Remove the lid and honestly stop selling transmog altogether. It’s just not something you have to earn revenue for and there are many other things that Bungie still sells every season.

None of materials – This is for prisms and fragments, which are limited to 50 and 10 respectively, and then another 50 and 10 can be pushed into your postmaster … and pushed with blue drops if you are not careful. What’s really silly is that there are ways to get it, they’re just convoluted, like putting blue prisms to disassemble them for cores (uncovered) or storing fragments in exotic master openers that can be disassembled later . Even for someone like me, who rarely grinds Nightfalls or especially GMs, I’ve been covered more or less forever, and it’s annoying when things like vendors get locked behind prismatic, stepped doors that force you to spend them.

Back space – This is your own cap shape, so I count it here. Keeping the vault space the same might have worked when sunset was still a big deal, but now that there has been no season after season with dozens of new weapons and armor and a zero increase in space. the vaults. It’s becoming unsustainable and it’s frustrating because you think you’re deleting things you can separate yourself from, and suddenly something gets muffled and you don’t have it anymore. There was no increase in space back in the season of the lost and none announced for the queen of witches. I think it can be a memory problem, unlike some of those others, and yet it has to happen essentially for the health of the game.

Fortunately, though, I can collect 50,000 armory materials without any problems, but …
