The Andalusian School of Public Health of Granada and Preventive Medicine design a training plan focused on public health

the Andalusian School of Public Health (EASP) and the Andalusian Society of Preventive Medicine have designed an annual program of teaching and consulting activities to improve health management and advance advice, research and international cooperation.

The annual program of teaching and consulting activities it is part of an agreement signed between the two health institutions to promote cooperation in teaching, consulting, research and international cooperation.



This agreement has a duration of four years and will be developed through Annual Activity Programs, Which will be carried out and evaluated by the Monitoring Committee made up of two professionals from each institution.

The Andalusian Society of Preventive Medicine now joins the EASP, dependent on the Board and based in Granada, and a benchmark in teaching activities aimed at health professionals and training in health system management and development.

It’s 2020, the EASP has renewed its accreditation as a Center for Continuing Education at the Optimal Level, And has carried out 233 training activities with a duration in which more than 35,000 professionals have participated.

The training task has been complemented with 63 scientific meetings, More than 100 projects and some thirty research projects that have served to exceed 130 publications, 96% of them with an impact factor.

The Andalusian Society of Preventive Medicine and Public Health (SAMPSP) has among its objectives to promote the structure, organization and principles that favor the development of Preventive Medicine and Public Health and has seven specialized working groups.

As an example, the next October 7th holds a meeting in Córdoba which will address vaccines, cleaning, disinfection and environmental biosecurity, will analyze the threats and opportunities of the specialty during the pandemic and the impact it has had on the training of residents.
